Memloom is an online service that began as a digital storytelling tool for the average mom, and overtime became a tool for businesses to connect to their customers.
One of the main challenges I overcame, while working with Memloom, was moving at a fast pace and adapting to evolving ideas and goals. We had to adapt to changes in target audience, graphical assets used, as well as events with tight deadlines.
While working with the Memloom team, my main responsibilities included recreating the website designs created by Chris Drummonds into a working HTML and CSS coded site, as well as creating their videos and music. For the videos, I was given a script by one of the Memloom writers, then I used all the web design elements that Chris created, to animate the simulated onscreen walkthrough. I created a few miscellaneous graphics through Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and used AfterEffects to create clean and open videos to match their branding.
I worked closely with the Memloom team, through many iterations and deadlines, to make sure the video fit within all the guidelines given such as video length, content, visual comprehension, maintaining brand identity, etc.
I worked in Logic Pro X to create all the music in the videos. I created the music specifically for this projects, and created a few reprisals to have them to fit multiple differently paced video variations to fit specific events. The music reflects the tone of the Memloom brand while synchronizing with the visuals.
